What to Plant:

If you live in the North Island, Top of South or West Coast you can grow all the varieties of Feijoa we sell.  If you live in Canterbury, Otago or Southland we recommend you plant Apollo, Pounamu and Unique varieties of Feijoa.

Pollination:

Unique Feijoa is self fertile.  Wiki Tu and Apollo are partially self fertile.  The remaining varieties give good crops of fruit if they're planted near another tree for pollination.

Fruit Season Summary:

For early fruit plant Apollo, Kaiteri, Pounamu and Unique.  For midseason fruit plant Kakapo and Wiki-Tu.  For late season fruit plant Opal Star and Triumph.
