This hard cheese press has been designed and manufactured in Nelson by Mapua Country Trading Co.

All of the metal components including the mould are made from high grade stainless steel, it has a wooden forma made from non tainting Kahikatea and has a food grade resin base and handle.

The press comes with one cylindrical mould which will take curds from up to 10 ltrs. of milk however you can fit other moulds to the press to produce different shapes and sizes of cheese.

The spring is especially designed for the press so that each complete turn of the handle produces 1kg of pressure up to a maximum of 20kg.

Each press comes boxed, with full care and maintenance instructions.
