For those of us who just want to keep a few hens (up to 6 heavy breed hens) in the back garden or paddock we offer a range of small chook sheds with or without runs and other options.

This range of sheds is the result of years of experience keeping chooks and cleaning sheds and each design incorporates all the things that you need to keep your chooks properly and safely.

#1. The Small Movable House with Run

If you are looking to keep some chooks in your back garden then this movable house and run would be perfect.

This practical design will house up to 6 heavy breed hens comfortably.

The house has been designed to be 'roomy' with the wired run acting more as a 'holding pen' prior to the chooks been let out to free range on a daily basis.

Or if you are keeping one or two birds and want to move the house to fresh grass for them regularly it has handles at the front of the run to skid the house along to fresh ground.

Overall size is 2m long by 0.9m wide and 0.75m high (to apex).

The house is 1.1m by 0.9m and the run is 0.9m by 0.9m.

#2 The Medium Raised Hen House

Many people stain or paint and decorate their chook sheds too and make them a feature of the garden.

For those of us who just want to keep up to 1/2 a dozen large birds in the back garden or paddock in an existing run or free ranging then our Medium Raised house is ideal.

It is raised up off the ground which helps to keep it nice and dry and offers the chooks shade and a place to dust bath.  

The nest box is contained within the house and is removable, so is the perch, this allows for ease of care when cleaning.

A pop hole is placed at the front of house for 'chook' access and closing them in at night if predators are a problem and a ramp is included for the chooks to walk up.

The roof is made of plywood and is hinged to allow easy access to the house which also has a solid plywood floor.  

All timber used is treated for a durable product.   An untreated nest box is included.
